Dominic Ferris

Dominic hails from a family whose name has been linked with music and show business from many years. With his father an EMI record producer recording bands such as The Beatles, and his mother a singer/songwriter, Dominic has really had no choice but to develop a passion for music.

Dominic is a student of the Royal College of Music, London, where he studies piano, singing, conducting and musical theatre. Over the last few years he has worked with many conductors and orchestras both locally and nationally playing piano concertos by Grieg, Gershwin and Rachmaninoff. His classical performances have seen him in various concert venues including tours to New York, Boston and Europe.

Along with the classical repertoire, Dominic has always been passionate about musical theatre. He has produced, musically directed and played in several musicals locally, on tour and in the West End including West Side Story, Anything Goes, Sweet Charity, Annie, Les Miserables, Houdini (the musical), Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, Phantom of the Opera, Billy Elliot, Cabaret, Guys & Dolls, Oliver and Wicked.
When time permits, Dominic enjoys taking to the stage and recently played the role of Charles Condomine in Noel Coward’s famously witty play, ‘Blithe Spirit’.

Dominic loves to create music and inspire like-minded people. He is currently at work on his own musical entitled ‘The Book of My Life’ – hopefully due to be premiered next year.
When at home, Dominic can often be found writing songs in his studio. He is at work writing and recording his debut album due to be completed this summer.
