Tom was born in Coventry and graduated from Imperial College London in 2004 with a degree in Biochemistry and Management. He is currently touring the UK as MD on HI-DE-HI. Prior to this he worked as assistant MD on the UK tours of SCROOGE and CABARET, and as MD on the tour of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT.
Other musical direction credits include: RED PEPPERS (Theatre Vision, NYC), THE JUNGLE BOOK (Playhouse, Weston-Super-Mare), BABES IN THE WOOD and MOTHER GOOSE (Pomegranate, Chesterfield), OKLAHOMA! (Grimsby Auditorium), SPRING FEVER (King's Head, London), IOLANTHE and THE MIKADO (Riverhead, Louth), DICK WHITTINGTON (Royal Victoria Hall, Southborough) and a studio cast recording of the rock musical AREA 51. As a keyboard player he has worked on the UK tours of WATERLOO UK, MAD ABOUT THE MUSICALS, BLOOD BROTHERS, HALF A SIXPENCE and GOTTA SING GOTTA DANCE as well as CATS at the Larnaca International Festival in Cyprus. He also worked as music programmer for the current UK tour of EVITA. On the satirical comedy circuit, Tom has musically directed THE TREASON SHOW (Komedia, Brighton) and NEWSREVUE (Canal Café, London) as well as working as a cabaret performer and pianist at venues across London including the New Players Lounge, Battersea Barge, CellarDoor, Soprano's Piano Bar and the Savoy Theatre.
